Bill Goodman, the journalist with local roots and author of “Beans, Biscuits, Family & Friends: Life Stories,” is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. Saturday at the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center.
He is being hosted by the Barren County Historical Society, with the anticipated topic of “Famous Relatives I Have Known.”
Goodman is widely known for his work with Kentucky Educational Television, but he is currently the executive director for the Kentucky Humanities Council, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
The community is invited to attend; no admission fee is charged.
The cultural center, which includes the Museum of the Barrens, is at 200 W. Water St., Glasgow.
