A man was taken to the hospital after he was stabbed due to a domestic violence situation.
On June 11 Glasgow police went to a residence on Frazier Avenue in Glasgow upon receiving a report of a stabbing.
“Officers located a male subject standing in the roadway suffering from a stab wound to the left arm area,” a Glasgow Police Department press release states. “Officers determined that a domestic situation had taken place, and the suspect identified as Abbi R. Sovine had stabbed the victim in the left arm with a knife.”
The man who had been stabbed was transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for his injuries and later taken to Skyline Hospital in Nashville, according to the press release.
Sovine, of Glasgow, was arrested, lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and charged with attempted murder – domestic violence. Her court appearance is set for June 12 at 12:30 p.m.
