What began as a simple evening focused on children has grown into one of the city’s most anticipated community events. Cave City’s fourth annual Community Night Out offers a free evening of food, music, and fun for the entire family Friday, June 20.
“It started off focusing on children,” said Jennifer McNett, director of Cave City Tourism. “But we wanted to make it something the whole family could enjoy. Every year, it gets a little better — and a little bigger.”
Festivities run from 5 to 10 p.m., with activities spread across both indoor and outdoor spaces. The outdoor portion, happening from 5 to 7 p.m., will feature free inflatables, a dunking booth, a petting zoo from Dutch Country Safari Park, and visits from local police and fire crews with their vehicles on display. Toddlers to teens can also enter to win bicycles and other prizes. While the event will feature several food trucks, free hot dogs will also be available while supplies last.
From 8 to 10 p.m., guests can head inside the Cave City Convention Center for live music from the Les Masters Band, vendors selling handmade and unique items. JACK Radio will host a live remote broadcast during the event, adding to the high-energy atmosphere.
Parking will be available at the Cave City Convention Center
