Marie Price Bale

Marie Price Bale, 98, Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at NHC Healthcare Center.  A native of Green County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Edith Beams Price; and widow of the late Glenn M. Bale.

Marie was a homemaker who enjoyed life.  She loved to laugh and have a good time.  Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, and gardening.  She was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Pat Witty (Jon) of Glasgow and Glenda Edmunds of Green County; three grandchildren: Ryan Thompson (Goldie) of Lexington, Kim Wyatt (Scott Gibson) of Glasgow, and Missy Martin (Kevin) of Horse Cave; several great-grandchildren including Cully Martin (Bri), Maddie Carter (Jonah), and Garrett Wyatt (Taylor); two great-great grandchildren: Hudson Carter and Leo Martin.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tonya Rowland of Frankfort; three great-grandchildren: twins Faith and Hope Martin, and Corbin Wyatt; one great-great grandchild, Milo Martin; and one sister, Virginia Bickel.

The family would like to thank Highland Ridge Assisted Living where she spent 11 years making many happy memories with special friends; and NHC where she received love and support from the caring staff.

We would also like to thank her special caregivers Nina Wheeler, Connie Eaton and Margie Rush as well as others throughout the years for the care they provided

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12 noon Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
