Barren County receives 2 agriculture loans

Barren County received two Beginning Farm Loans from the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation.

The two loan amounts are $56,000 and $107,500, according to a corporation press release, and can be used “to purchase livestock, equipment, or agriculture facilities; to secure permanent working capital; for the purchase of farm real estate; or to invest in a partnership or LLC.”

Barren County’s loans are from the 20 approved by the corporation during its recent monthly meeting.
