Led by a trio of Top 10 runners, the Barren County girls’ cross country team ran second at the Hardin County Fairgrounds on Saturday.
Audrey Nuetzman finished fifth with a time of 20:13.78, while Gracie Reed was sixth in a time of 20:22.96, and Molly Beckham finished seventh with a time of 20:26.11. Barren posted 106 points, which was good for second behind Ballard with 66 points.
Also for the Trojanettes, Maria Dyer finished the 5K in 23:06.70, while Mary Warren ran the race in 23:32.45, Layla Robertson finished in 26:00.57, and Raygan Wyatt posted a time of 28:42.61.
Glasgow did not have a team score, but did have several runners compete. Brinleigh Mackie led the Lady Scotties with a time of 22:08.97, while Anne Rhoades Pike finished in 24:10.19, Callaway Mackie ran the race in 24:22.21, and Evelyn Myatt finished in 29:05.41
