Sixty-eight-year-old Donnie Ray Boyd has been released from federal custody on a $25,000 unsecured bond, according to court documents filed with the Western District of Kentucky.

He was arrested by Glasgow police in November 2024 on eight charges, including first-degree, first offense trafficking in methamphetamine. Boyd was federally indicted on four counts of distributing methamphetamine. At his Aug. 22 initial appearance, he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In addition to the $25,000 unsecured bond, there are several conditions tied to his release that he agrees to, according to court documents, like reporting to U.S. probation, take part in a substance use treatment program, and not to violate any other laws.

His next federal court appearance is set for Nov. 18 at 2:20 p.m. In Barren County a pretrial conference is set for Nov. 3 at 1 p.m.
