One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision in Glasgow on Sept. 30.

Debbie Tinsley was transported to the T.J. Samson Community Hospital for injuries she sustained during a collision at the intersection of State Avenue and Lexington Drive, according to a Glasgow Police Department press release. State Avenue connects North Race Street to Lexington Drive.

“It was determined that a 2022 GMC Terrain operated by Charlotte Perkins was traveling eastbound on Lexington Drive and was attempting to make a left turn onto State Avenue and failed to see a 2017 Jeep Wrangler operated by Debbie Tinsley who was traveling westbound on Lexington Drive,” the press release stated.

The collision was investigated by Officer Dawson Wooten, assisted by the Glasgow Fire Department and the Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
