Glasgow Christian Academy will host a fall festival from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 17, at the school’s new location at 629 W. Cherry St. The school is in the former Happy Valley Elementary.

This free event is open to the public and will include food, music, games and a silent auction.

April Bryant of the academy told WCLU Radio earlier this week that it’s a longtime tradition for this event to include chicken curry, adding that they will also serve hot dogs, funnel cakes and popcorn.

“Fall Festival is a longtime tradition for GCA,” Bryant said. “It’s actually one of our biggest fundraisers for the school.”

Bryant said this festival is a great way for the community to check out their new location.

“We would love for everyone to come out and just have fun with us,” she said, adding that there will be a gun raffle and Ark Encounter tickets in the silent auction, which will also include gift cards from local businesses.
