A Glasgow man charged with murder has been indicted by a Barren County grand jury.
Thirty-nine-year-old Thomas Joseph Orlando has been indicted on a charge of murder and two charges of first-degree wanton endangerment in the Oct. 15 batch of Barren County indictments. The murder charge, which is domestic violence related, according to the indictment, is a capital offense and the two first-degree wanton endangerment charges are class C felonies — both endangerment charges result from the discharge of a firearm in close proximity to minors.
His bond is set at $1 million cash and house arrest with YouTurn monitoring, according to the indictment. Orlando is still lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
Orlando was arrested by Kentucky state police at the Union No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Eighty Eight on Sept. 4 after Brittany Harper was found dead with a gunshot wound in a Park City residence.
His case was forwarded to a grand jury on Sept. 15 when Kentucky State Police trooper Jonathan Carlock testified before district judge Gabe Pendleton.
At the time of publication, Orlando’s circuit court arraignment has not been scheduled.
