Glasgow police are investigating the death of a child.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, police department officers responded to a residence on Cleveland Avenue on a call of an unresponsive 4-year old, according to a press release from the police department. Once on the scene, the officers started life-saving measures. The child was transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital, and later flown to University of Kentucky Hospital. He was pronounced dead on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Glasgow police Detective Lt. Jabin McGuire is leading the investigation.
