Barren County Fiscal Court sets special meeting for Thursday

A Thursday-afternoon special-called meeting has been called for Barren County Fiscal Court for votes on a variety of payments and a pay raise for two people plus a judge-executive proclamation relating to cerebral palsy awareness, the last of which requires no vote.
Specifically, the action items on the agenda for the 2 p.m. gathering calls for potential approvals for payment of claims, the transfer of funds, $4-per-hour raises for the two county-assigned Barren River Drug Task Force employees, a quote for backhoe repairs and payments to schools from alcoholic beverage control funds.
The meeting takes place on the third floor of the Barren County Government Center, 117 N. Public Square, Glasgow.
