The criminal charges brought against a Glasgow man accused of strangulation and assault have been dismissed.
Chayse Gladden, 29, was arrested by Glasgow police on Dec. 27, 2025 after they “determined that a physical altercation had taken place between Chayse Gladden and a female victim at a residence on Pocahontas Trail,” according to prior reporting. At the time, he was charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence, minor injury) and second-degree assault.
Kayla Miller, who was identified by court records as the previously unnamed female, no longer wished to pursue charges against Gladden and so the case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning the charges can be brought against Gladden in the future, according to his court file.
