The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a series of vehicle break-ins reported within the same neighborhood.
Jackson Trail, Beatrice Lane, Juno Way and Certain Lane are the areas this occurred, according to Barren County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Adam Bow.
Deputies initially responded to a complaint regarding a vehicle that had been broken into overnight. During the investigation, it was reported that several items were discovered along a roadway behind the residence.
As deputies canvassed the surrounding area, they identified approximately ten vehicles that had been unlawfully entered, with various items reported missing.
Video surveillance from the area indicates that at least two individuals may be involved in these incidents.
The investigation remains ongoing. The Barren County Sheriff’s Office encourages residents to check their vehicles for missing items and to report any suspicious activity. Citizens are also reminded to lock their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables inside whenever possible.
