Stella Jean Shelton of Temple Hill Elementary will also be honored for having perfect attendance from kindergarten through sixth grade.
In other business, board members are set to approve salary schedules, supplements and stipends for the 2026-27 school year. They may also approve a change order for a project at the Barren County Area Technology Center and new student positions for the Farm to School program.
Toward the end of the meeting, the board is scheduled to enter into closed session for the purpose of discussing the evaluation of the superintendent.
