Police said two people were seriously injured in a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Kentucky St and Myrtle St. Glasgow Police Chief Guy Howie said the injuries were serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
Howie said the preliminary investigation indicates a black Chevrolet Tahoe appeared to have ignored a stop sign on Kentucky Street. At the same time, a green Ford Fusion was traveling on Myrtle Street through the intersection in front of Extreme Fitness. Howie said the Tahoe then struck the Fusion.
The impact caused the Fusion to flip onto its top and land in a roadside ditch. The crash happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29. The Glasgow Police Department and Glasgow Fire Department responded to the scene.
The investigation by Glasgow police is ongoing, this story will be updated as information becomes available.
