A Glasgow man was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 5, after police responded to a call on Veterans Outer Loop.
Glasgow police were called to investigate a “suspicious person” in the 3300 block of Veterans Outer Loop, according to a police press release.
There, police found Steven Daniel Haley, who appeared to be impaired. A search of his backpack allegedly revealed syringes and methamphetamine, the release stated.
Haley was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a Class D felony, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Glasgow police officer Jonathan Pendley made the arrest.
Haley remained in jail Thursday morning with a $2,500 cash bond.
