Four people injured in two-vehicle collision at Veterans and North Jackson

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and North Jackson Highway.

Glasgow police, Glasgow fire and Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched to a injury crash at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, according to the 911 report.

At the scene, police determined that a 2015 Chevy, driven by Lacy Garvin, was traveling westbound on Veterans Outer Loop and as her vehicle approached the intersection with North Jackson Highway, a passenger inside the vehicle grabbed the steering wheel causing it to strike a 2015 Jeep, driven by David Crews. He was traveling eastbound on Veterans Outer Loop, according to a Glasgow police press release.

Lacy Garvin, Cindy Brugman, David Crews and Amanda Crews were all transported by the Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for their injuries.

The collision was investigated by officer Mitchell King.
