The Glasgow Scotties opened their season Friday night with a 35-16 win over Pulaski Southwestern in the Don Franklin Bowl.
Glasgow used a balanced offense and a strong debut from new quarterback Landen Holley to pull away in the season opener.
Glasgow finished with 18 first downs and 293 yards of total offense, including 141 rushing yards and 152 passing yards.
Southwestern recorded 13 first downs and 260 total yards, with 205 on the ground and 55 through the air.
Holley was 13-of-19 passing for 152 yards, with three touchdown passes and one interception.
He also added 44 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Running back Kaebran Jones led the Scotties on the ground with 98 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, and he also caught three passes for 33 yards and another score.
Kyle Sledge added three receptions for 58 yards, including a long gain of 38 yards, while Keyshawn Austin had four catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Jaden Bradley contributed three carries for seven rushing yards and one catch for seven yards in limited action.
Penalties were a major factor, as Southwestern was flagged 12 times for 107 yards, and Glasgow was penalized eight times for 74 yards.
Time of possession was nearly even.
Southwestern ran 58 plays and held the ball for 24:16, while Glasgow ran 54 plays and possessed the ball for 23:34.
For Southwestern, Jordan Lewis led the Warriors with 70 rushing yards on 14 carries.
Quarterback Taton Richardson added 58 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries and was 5-of-15 passing for 55 yards with two interceptions.
His completions went to Colson Eckman, who had two catches for 23 yards; R.J. Noble, who had one catch for 10 yards; and Maddox Walters and Sam Framer, who each had one reception for nine yards.
Richardson punted twice for a 20-yard average, and Noble added one punt for 24 yards.
For Glasgow, Holley punted twice for 69 yards, averaging 34 yards per kick.
The victory gives Glasgow a 1-0 start to the 2026 season, while Southwestern begins 0-1.
