Kentucky State Police Post 3 has released the list of traffic safety checkpoint locations planned in Barren County during October.
The checkpoints will be set up on several major highways and state routes that carry regular traffic in and out of the county.
According to KSP, troopers plan checkpoints at US 31W near the Edmonson County line and the Hart County line.
Another US 31W checkpoint is planned at the intersection with Kentucky 255.
On the east side of the county, state police list a checkpoint at US 31E and Jack Turner Road.
The enforcement plan also calls for a checkpoint at US 68 and Kentucky 255 in the Bon Ayr area.
State routes are included as well, with Kentucky 70 checkpoint locations listed at its intersections with Kentucky 314, 255 and 740 near Hiseville.
Troopers also note a checkpoint at Kentucky 1846 and Old Lexington Road.
Kentucky 249 is listed in two spots, with one checkpoint about a half mile south of the Glasgow city limits and another at the Monroe County line.
