Wilma Brauer
Wilma Russell Brauer, 75, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, October 12, 2026, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Allen County native was a homemaker and member of New Design Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Harvey Clifford Light and Winnie Irene Dismon Light and wife of the late James William Brauer.
1 son: Kenneth Joe Russell and wife, Donna, Franklin, KY; 2 daughters: Elaine Woods and husband, Robert, Fountain Run, KY and Brenda Chandler and husband, Darrin, Scottsville, KY; 1 brother: Terry Light, Scottsville, KY; 1 sister: Lonelle Cornwell and husband, Glendall, Scottsville, KY; 5 grandchildren: Tosha Hauskin (Jake), Tracy Woods (Kinsley), Lauren McDuffee (Eli), Sydni Woodard (Kyle) and Braylen Russell; 10 great grandchildren: Kyler, Kaydence, Konner, Ellie, Hagan Lane, Lingston, Caroline, Ryder, Daughtry, Atley and 1 unborn great granddaughter, Annie Elizabeth.
She was preceded in death by a son: Billy James Russell; 2 brothers: Neal Light (Annie Jo) and Rex Light; a twin sister: Margaret Dean Steward.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2026, at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy Woods, Bro. Roy Shockley and Bro. Jake Hauskin officiating and burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
