The Barren County opioid committee meets this Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Barren County Fiscal Court Chambers on the third floor of the government center at 117 North Public Square.
Charged with overseeing the county’s opioid abatement funds, the seven-member committee will accept and select a submitted application each year to award opioid abatement funds.
Monday’s meeting will be so that the committee can review grant applications submitted by organizations seeking money from the abatement fund.

There will also be a special-called committee meeting Nov. 2.
