Eddie Atkins, 59, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at his residence. The Cave City native was born Oct. 9, 1963, to William Atkins Sr. of Corydon, Indiana, and the late Mary Atkins Poole. He was married to his loving wife, Emerlyn Atkins, who survives.
Eddie had worked for many years as a truck driver and entrepreneur, and he was a member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church. He was a very talented musician and truly enjoyed playing the piano and singing.
Besides his wife and dad, he leaves to honor his memory four children, Chris Atkins (Angie) of New Braunfels, Texas, James Atkins (Kacee Breeden) of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and Mary Atkins and Joseph Atkins, both of Westmoreland; a granddaughter, Linzy Atkins; and siblings, William Atkins Jr., Charles Atkins (Debra) and Elizabeth Sanders (Steve); and several nieces and nephews
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Patton Funeral Home Cave City Chapel, with interment in Campground Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Doris Marie Olinick, 87, of Glasgow died Sunday, June 18, 2023, at her residence.
The Michigan native was a daughter of the late Raymond Beauprey and Mary Antoinette Naprudnik Beauprey. She was retired from George Matick Chevy in Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Frank Olnick; three daughters, Debra O. Lisull (Michael), Donna Marie Black (Robert) and Denise Anne Nash (Joe dec.); one sister, Mary Lou Betts; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Raymond Beauprey; and one sister, Alberta Lee Muzzin.
Per Doris’s request, cremation was chosen, with no service scheduled at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Davie Marie Reneau
Davie Marie Reneau, 59, of Glasgow died Sunday, June 11, 2023. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of Martha Powell Reneau Harrison and the late David Isaac Reneau. She was a former professor in the Art Department of Campbellsville University. An extensive traveler, she was a potter and a member of “Women in the Woods.”
Survivors include her mother, Martha Powell Harrison of Fountain Run; two nephews, Philip Matthew Stewart of Glasgow and Clay Lee Lovell of Knob Lick; and an aunt, Joyce Gritton of Midway, Utah.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marla Stewart.
The family honored Ms. Reneau’s wishes to be cremated. A celebration of her life is expected to take place later. Arrangements are entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
