Ollie Eileen Royse Brown was born May 30, 1927. She died peacefully with family by her side on June 19, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tollie; her mother, Lola; her brother, Thomas; her husband Richard; and her sons-in-law, Max and Frank.
She is survived by her daughters, Omie and Janice and Janice’s husband Phil; her grandchildren, Stacey, George, Regina, Lisa, Brian and Jennifer; her great-grandchildren, Shelby, Kaleb, Hailey, Leland, Tobias, Ethan, Gabrielle, Nicole, Noah, and Tanner; Regina and Lisa’s children and grandchildren; her nieces and nephews, Ricky, Mark, Lori, Rhonda, Keith and Kevin; and her extended family, LeeAnn and Frances. We celebrate her full life of 96 years. May she rest in the arms of her god.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service is also scheduled for 9 a.m. EDT on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Debra Mitchell Crews 59, of Hiseville died peacefully Monday, June 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Romona Thompson and the late Thomas W. Mitchell. She was a registered nurse for many years. She worked for Drs. Reddy and Lessenberry and taught surgery techs for Southern Kentucky Technical College. She was named a Kentucky Colonel. Debra had a loving heart and loved helping with anyone in need; she loved animals, especially dogs. She was a member of numerous organizations pertaining to nursing.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Charlie; three stepchildren: Ricky Crews, Karen Crews Jessie and Charles Glen Crews; two brothers, Tommy Mitchell (Lori) and Troy Robertson; six grandchildren,Ally Faith Robertson, Troy Dillon Crews, Benjamin Crews, Wesley Crews, Cady Gregg and Emily Foster; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Branham.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Barren River Animal Welfare Association or the American Cancer Society.
