The Glasgow Police Department has received numerous complaints in regards to a male subject identifying himself to be with Animal Control Division. GPD Capt. Ashley Jones said that the subject is operating within the city and county with no discernible pattern.

He is a male, appears to be in his late 30s to early 40s in age. He is driving a white truck and has a shirt with “Animal Control” on it. He appears also to be questioning people about a variety of subjects not pertaining to animal control.

Jones said that one caller from the One Tree Lane area observed a man fitting the description looking in yards in the neighborhood and when the caller yelled at him, the man left immediately in a mid 90’s F-150 with an extended cab.
According to Jones another caller described a similar incident in the Castleridge Drive area, with the subject making a quick get-away once being confronted by residents.

The subject is not employed nor affiliated with the Glasgow-Barren County Animal Control.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity should report it to the Glasgow Police Department at 270-651-6165 or 270-651-5151.
