The annual Concert on the Square will be held Thursday, July 6 at 7 p.m. The concert is organized by Robbie Fudge, the band director for Caverna Independent Schools, and will feature the Glasgow Community Band. The band consists of individuals of all ages brought together by a love a music and community engagement.
Weather for the event is not expected to interfere but is being monitored. The concert is free to the public and attendees are asked to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
The Glasgow Public Square will be closed for vehicle traffic while the concert goes on, so motorists should plan accordingly.
