After nearly three months of supply issues and inspections, Shake My Burgers, a Cave City-based restaurant serving hamburgers, hotdogs, seafood, sweet treats and drinks of all kinds, is opening a Glasgow location in the shopping center on Happy Valley Road.
According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, the new location is roughly 4,000 square feet and will hold approximately 200 people.
The second location was officially announced in March, but delays with getting supplies has delayed its opening as well as purchasing all new equipment and various inspections, one owner of Shake My Burger said.
“If we bought stuff used we could’ve opened in like three weeks, but everything in there is brand new.”
Though the restaurant’s grand opening has yet to be announced, today is their soft opening.
In an effort to not sacrifice customer service, he said, they had to close parts of their Cave City location due to the scarcity of employees.
The soft opening was scheduled for noon today, July 8.
