Andrew Rubun Crowell, 57, of Glasgow died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Andrew was born to the late Richard Crowell and Shirley Crowell Huff in Dunkirk, New York. He was the owner and operator of Crowell Transportation LLC. Andrew loved fishing and was a Kentucky Bassmaster, and he also enjoyed NASCAR.
Andrew was preceded in death by his father Richard Crowell.
He is survived by his wife, Terina Crowell; mother, Shirley Huff; son, Keith Crowell; daughter, Amanda Paul; brother, Lynn Crowell; sister, Beth Crowell; grandchildren, Audrey Crowell, Parker Crowell, Noelle Crowell and Lily Gavin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service is entrusted to Riles & Woolley Funeral Home in Forestville, New.York. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Hayes Brothers Funeral Home Glasgow, which is entrusted with all local arrangements.

Robert (“Cheddar” Bob) Glanz, 72, died peacefully at Hospice of Southern Kentucky on Monday, July 3, 2023.
Bob was born in Buffalo, New York, on Nov. 7, 1950, to parents Adam and Helen. He was a medic in the Air Force, which inspired him to pursue nurse anesthesia. He was graduated from Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee, and earned an associate’s degree in nursing. Then he went on to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he completed his training to become a nurse anesthetist. Bob worked at T.J. Samson Community Hospital as a nurse anesthetist for nearly 30 years.
Bob had a big personality. During his life, he was a connoisseur of bourbon, pizza and Polish food. He was an avid fisherman and cherished his annual fishing trips to Canada with his son Eric and close friends, Larry McNabb, Eric Ward and Jud Allen. He was also a live-music enthusiast devoted to the blues. He could often be found at local blues jams and was a familiar face to many local musicians.
Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Beth; children, Eric and Sara (Alex Kidd); dog, Barney; his cousin, Ronnie Szczepaniak of Buffalo; uncle, Ed (Caryn) Wojtowicz of Buffalo; best friend, Larry (Sherry) McNabb of Bowling Green; and numerous other close friends that were like family to Bob. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Helen Wojtowicz Glanz, and uncle, Chester Glanz.
Bob chose to be cremated. A funeral mass is at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2023, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home in Glasgow with a rosary service at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or the Barren River Animal Welfare Association. The family requests no plants or gifts, please.

Howard Douglas Gossett
Howard Douglas Gossett, 70, of Horse Cave died July 14, 2023. He was born Dec. 16, 1950, in Hart County to the late Alvie James Gossett and Hattie Lee Doyle Gossett. He was married for 45 years to Mary Frankie Craine Gossett, who also preceded him in death.
Douglas was a former mechanical engineer at DART. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of American Legion Post 23 and was of the Baptist faith.
He leaves to honor his memory his son, Paul Douglas Gossett of Hardyville; brother, Junior Gossett (Ruth Ann) of Uno; sister, Hazel Smith of Bon Ayr; and several nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents and wife, Douglas was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, Joe and James Gossett; sisters, Helen Minor, Bertha Adwell, Frances Minor, Margaret Gossett and Betty Poynter.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2023, at Patton Funeral Cave City Chapel, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, where graveside military honors are to be provided by Disabled American Veterans Post 20. Visitation is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Sondra Gail Harbison, 77, of Glasgow died Friday, July 14, 2023 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Cecil Thomas Smith and V. Marie Payne Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis E. Harbison; one daughter, Dena Hoekenschnieder (Jim); one son, Joey Harbison (Dawn); seven grandchildren, Britney Cline (Clay), Ashlee Garner (Drew), Taylor Hoekenschnieder, Anna Beth Hoekenschnieder, Abigail Harbison, Maddie Harbison and Noah Harbison; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Owen Addison and Hayes; three brothers, Allen Smith, Ronnie Smith (Diana) and Steve Smith (Teresa); one sister, Lee Ann Royce; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dana Sue Smith.
Memorial service is at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial of cremains at Randolph Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
