According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the project to resurface a portion of the Louie B Nunn-Cumberland Expressway in Barren County from Interstate 65 to Exit 8 is wrapping up.
Wes Watt, the public information officer for District 3, said, “We’ve been putting a lot of work into it, but it needed to be done. The repaving will make motorists traveling in the area a much smoother and safer experience.”
There are now approximately nine miles of new driving surface for motorists on this section of the expressway.
