On Sunday July 9th at approximately 3:30pm, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Dover Church Road in reference to a domestic dispute that ended in one person being shot. Upon arriving, contact was made with Joshua E. Roscoe, 34, of Glasgow.
Roscoe explained that he had been in a verbal altercation with his brother while trying to break up another altercation his brother was having with other family members at the residence.
During the altercation, Roscoe retrieved a pistol from inside the residence and went back outside where he and his brother then got into a physical altercation. During the physical altercation, Roscoe shot his brother causing non-life threatening injuries. Roscoe was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
