Jennifer Williams, 47, of Oakland was at her home and surrounded by her loving family when she died Wednesday, May 22, 2024. The Barren County native was born March 26, 1977, to Timmy and Brenda Lawrence, who survive. She was married to her best friend and caregiver, Mike Williams, who unselfishly tended to her every need.
Jennifer previously worked in banking, but in most recent years was a housewife. She was a member of Dover Missionary Baptist Church. Jennifer had a servant’s heart and loved helping others and volunteering at Warren East Middle School Youth Service Center with her mom. Her happiest moments were those by Mike’s side, sharing laughs and wonderful memories with their family and friends.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves to honor her memory her sister, Leslie Cloyd (David) of Smiths Grove; nephews, Keaton and Kayden Cloyd, Austin Marr and Dakota Decker; her in-laws, Billy and Barbara Williams; sister-in-law, Michelle Cline; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilson and Lois Smith and Manuel and Joyce Lawrence.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel, with interment in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
