Three Barren County natives were among the 277 students who earned a place on the Georgetown College dean’s list for the Spring 2026 term.
Glasgow graduates Max Lee and John Carter Myers and Barren County graduate Aden Nyekan each earned a 3.7 GPA or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. Myers was a senior football players, while Lee was a freshman on the Georgetown football team. Nyekan was a junior on the Tigers’ basketball team.
“The Academic Dean’s List recognizes those students who have excelled academically while balancing their other responsibilities,” said Provost and Dean of the College Jonathan Sands Wise. “It is not easy to earn
recognition on the Dean’s List at Georgetown, and these students and their families should be proud of their accomplishments.”
