Glasgow woman arrested on active warrant, meth possession

A Glasgow woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with first degree possession of methamphetamine, first offense.

Staci A. Lee, 51, of Glasgow, was driving a vehicle that Glasgow police officer Jeffery Walker stopped after confirming that Lee had an active warrant and that her operator’s license was suspended, according to a press release from Glasgow Police Department. Walker allegedly received consent to search the vehicle where methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was allegedly found.

Lee was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to notify address change to DOT, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Walker was the arresting officer.

Lee remained in the Barren County Detention Center on Wednesday morning with a $1,500 cash bond. She has an initial court appearance on June 8, according to the jail website.
