Barren Inc. is launching a new women’s leadership conference in Glasgow, featuring Emmy Award-winning television personality and comedian Loni Love as the keynote speaker.
The inaugural LeadHER Forward Summit is scheduled for Aug. 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cave Area Conference Center.
According to information from Barren Inc., the summit is a one-day leadership experience designed to inspire, connect and empower women across South Central Kentucky. Organizers say the event will bring together female business owners, professionals, educators, entrepreneurs and emerging leaders for a full day of programming. Planned activities include leadership sessions, networking opportunities, shopping in the LeadHER marketplace, relaxing experiences and candid conversations with local women leaders. Barren Inc. officials describe the summit as one of the region’s newest premier leadership events, highlighting a focus on empowering women in the community.
Love, known for her work as an Emmy Award-winning television host and nationally recognized comedian, has also been a co-host of the daytime talk show “The Real” and a host of “Cafe Mocha Radio,” according to biographical information shared with the announcement.
