Truck Thunder is rolling into downtown Cave City this Saturday morning as part of a special Cave City Cars and Coffee event. The gathering will run from 8 to 11 a.m. Central Time in downtown Cave City, offering a free, family-friendly way to kick off the Fourth of July.
The event is being billed as Cave City Cars and Coffee: Truck Thunder, with a special emphasis on trucks of all kinds. Organizers are inviting owners of classic trucks, lifted trucks, work trucks, street trucks and daily drivers to bring their vehicles downtown. While the theme focuses on trucks, all makes and models are welcome, so participants do not need to own a truck to take part.
The morning will feature live music from the Mason Gentry Band, giving visitors a chance to enjoy a concert atmosphere while they explore the vehicles. Attendees are also encouraged to support local businesses by grabbing breakfast or coffee at shops in the downtown area during the event. According to organizers, the event is free for both participants displaying vehicles and spectators who simply want to look around.
Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so those hoping to secure a prime spot are encouraged to arrive early. Officials say they are expecting a fun and relaxed atmosphere as residents and visitors gather to celebrate vehicles and community on a holiday morning.
