Houston man injured in interstate crash south of Park City

A 32-year-old Houston, Texas, man was injured in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 65 on Sunday afternoon.

Kiza Jean was driving southbound on I-65 near the Barren and Edmsonson county line when his red Subaru Forrester left the roadway and crashed, according to information provided by Kentucky State Police information officer Katan Parker. Parker read the information from the Computer-Aided Dispatch system. The CAD did not have the cause of the crash.

Jean was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital, where is in stable condition as of Monday morning, Parker said. The crash happened just before 1 p.m. Sunday, according to the Barren County 911 activity report. The state police worked the crash, and personnel from Cave City Fire Department and Park City Fire Department, and Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services were also called to the scene.
