A driver was airlifted to a Louisville hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash on the Cumberland Parkway in Barren County, according to a press release from Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the crash happened around 4:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, on the westbound side of the Cumberland Parkway.
Investigators reported that a 2006 Acura TL was traveling west when it left the roadway and overturned several times.
The driver, identified by deputies as Kori Wade, was injured in the crash.
Wade was flown from the scene to University of Louisville Hospital for further medical treatment, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials said multiple agencies responded to the scene. Assisting were the South Barren Fire Department, Park City Fire Department, Barren-Metcalfe EMS and Kentucky 8.
