The Barren County Trojans showcased a commanding performance against the Monroe County Falcons, winning with a final score of 35-7. The Trojans’ offense and defense were in top form, with standout plays contributing to their victory.
Corbin Wells opened the scoring with a three-yard run touchdown, putting the Trojans ahead early. Briggs Harris followed with a 31-yard pass to Jordan Harris, and Jaxon Pierce added a six-yard run with a two-point conversion. Baylor Browning’s 16-yard interception return for a touchdown was a key moment, extending Barren County’s lead to 27-0.
Cameron Gutierrez further increased the lead with a three-yard run touchdown. Monroe County’s only score came from Griffin Spears’ 49-yard reception from Trace England, making it 35-7 at halftime. The second half saw no further scoring due to a running clock.

The Trojans posted 322 yards of offense and held the Falcons to 127 yards.
Wells led Barren on the ground with 54 yards on five carries, while Briggs Harris rushed for 35 yards, Pierce rushed for 31 yards, Gutierrez posted three runs for 23 yards and Brayden Bartley finished with 21 rush yards.
Briggs Harris completed 6 of 9 passes for 101 yards, all in the first half.
Barren County’s victory improves their record to 3-1, while Monroe County falls to 2-2.
