Glasgow police are advising drivers to avoid part of the downtown square Monday evening because of the Thank a Farmer event.
According to the department, the north side of the public square will be closed in conjunction with the event.
Officials say the road closure on the north side of the square will begin Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
Police say all vehicles parked on the north side of the square must be moved before 4:30 p.m. to allow the roadway to be shut down safely.
The department says the roadway is expected to reopen at approximately 9 p.m. Monday.
Motorists are being encouraged to plan accordingly, use alternate routes when possible, and use caution when traveling near the square during the closure.
Police are also thanking drivers for their patience and cooperation while the event takes place.
The Thank a Farmer event is open to all Barren County farmers.
