Glasgow Medicare Community Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, at EZRX of Glasgow. The event will provide information and answer general questions ahead of annual Medicare open enrollment.
Licensed Medicare insurance agent Steve Jessee said he plans to speak with residents about Medicare and upcoming changes to available plans. He said attendees may bring documents or paperwork they have received and do not understand.
Jessee said reviewing coverage can help people determine whether their current plan still fits their circumstances. A person’s health care providers and prescription needs can affect which options are appropriate, he said.
During the event, Jessee plans to discuss participants’ doctors, hospitals and pharmacies as part of their individual situations. He emphasized that attendees do not have to use EZRX and may choose any pharmacy.
Annual Medicare open enrollment runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. Jessee said that period allows Medicare participants to compare plans if their circumstances have changed or if they want to check whether another option may better meet their needs.
The event will include informational materials and giveaways. Jessee said people whose questions require a more extensive review can arrange a separate time to discuss their situation.
EZRX is located at 195 N L Rogers Wells Boulevard in Glasgow.
