Murder suspect Emonnie Branch appeared in court Tuesday morning in Warren County, WNKY reported.
Judge Kimberly Geoghegan denied bond during the arraignment. Branch will return to court Friday at 8:45 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.

The person suspected of shooting and killing Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips, 28, of Glasgow, was caught in Louisville Monday evening, according to state police.
He was taken into custody by the Louisville Metro Police Department and transported back to Warren County.
The suspect in Phillips’ death was identified as Emonnie Branch, 51, of Portland, Tenn., by state police.
He was booked into the Warren County Detention Center at 12:40 Tuesday morning. A booking photo was not available on the jail website.
Branch fled police for several hours before being arrested in Louisville.

Branch is charged with murder of a first responder (peace officer) and was served an outstanding arrest warrant.
