Teresa Jaggers Cox
Teresa Jaggers Cox, age 76 of Munfordville, KY, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. She was a member of Dorsey Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired Librarian for Munfordville Elementary, where she stayed her whole career. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, and singing at church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mamaw, grandma, old mamaw, and Mrs. Cox to her whole family.
She is the daughter of the late Charles T. Jaggers and the late Willa Opal Thomas Jaggers
She is preceded in death by her son, Gerald Joseph Cox; one sister, Lettie Day.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald Cox, Munfordville, KY; her two children, Chuck Cox (Lydia), Munfordville, KY and Sarah Beth Cox (John), Munfordville, KY; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Kay Thompson and Vesta Dennison (Randall); a daughter-in-law, Jamie Cox; nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.
The family will welcome the public from 1:00- 8:00 PM CT on Saturday, November 7, 2026 and again from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. James Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Berry Cemetery in Edmonson County.
